After a brief hiatus (due to contracting Type-1 DICE-syntery from my time at Las Vegas’ DICE Summit last week), TOKYOPOP’s Cosplay Friday returns with a heapin’ helpin’ of the best cosplay from around the web this week. From Sailor Moon to Resident Evil to Star Wars: The Clone Wars and the most terrifyingly realistic Mario you’ve seen (sorry, Bob Hoskins), we’ve got a little something for everyone. So sit back, relax, eat the remainder of that Whitman’s Chocolate Sampler from yesterday, and enjoy the view.
We can only assume that this is Tuxedo Mask‘s futile Nemo shoveling attempt. Or he just watched American Beauty for the first time.
We’re not sure why Carnival in Spain requires families to dress up in costume, but we want to have breakfast, second breakfast, and elevensies with this family.
Mother of uncanny valleys! This Mario cosplay is extremely off-putting at first until you realize that it’s actually the greatest goddamn cosplay of all time.
What’re ya buyin’? What’re ya sellin’? What’re ya cosplayin’? A kick-ass Merchant (Resident Evil IV)? Ah, that’ll fetch a high price!
Let’s be real – we love Jennifer Lawrence (and Rebecca Romijn, theoretically), but this is the Mystique we all really wanted to see.
Did the fourth wall of the Internet shatter? Because this Rider and Waver Velvet (Fate/Zero) duo is practically perfect.
A Mandalorian Merc in our midst? Why it’s none other than Stacey Bender in her Bo-Katan finest.
“I’m blue, if I were green I would die” – what I imagine was going through Yaya Han’s head during this entire art nouveau Chun-Li photoshoot.
Since Valentine’s Day was yesterday and because we love Young Justice (RIP), here’s Superboy and Miss Martian lookin’ all adorable.
This is the Von Schweetz-est cosplay we’ve seen all week! C’mon, guys, you know it wouldn’t be Cosplay Friday without one cringe-inducing pun.

@Jacob, we actually featured Jessica’s Mad Moxxi in the very first Cosplay Friday we did here. Look at the banner image at the top of the article 🙂
These are some great cosplays, but you left out some by a cosplayer named Jessica Nigri, she did a Mad Moxxi cosplay not too long ago that was awesome
