TIMELY COMICS Allows Fans to Catch Up on All-New, All-Different Marvel

While DC Comics might be getting the lion’s share of the attention lately, with their big Rebirth relaunch on the horizon, the folks at Marvel Comics are here to remind everyone that they also had their own successful relaunch recently. Right before the end of their Secret Wars mini-series last fall, Marvel relaunched their entire line of comics at #1 in a publishing initiative they labelled “All-New All-Different Marvel.” The relaunch was actually named in tribute to the “All-New, All-Different X-Men” from the ’70s that relaunched that title to enormous success worldwide. Now Marvel is giving you a chance to catch up on everything you may have missed.

Series like Ms. Marvel, Invincible Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Thor, and Spider-Man (featuring Miles Morales) have been among Marvel’s best books in years creatively under this new relaunch. And now, in a way to get fans who might have missed the first several issues a chance to catch up, the publisher is starting a new initiative this coming June called “Timely Comics” — named for Marvel’s original name from back in the 1940s.

The Timely Comics imprint will be reprinting the first three issues of select titles at a suggested retail price of $3.00, a full six dollars off what it would have cost you to buy those three individual issues at face value. In a press release, Marvel states that Timely Comics “will take you on a path through the restored Marvel Universe. Whether it’s the formation of the Avengers, Daredevil’s fight for Chinatown, the birth of the Totally Awesome Hulk – Timely Comics has it all and so much more.”

The initial Timely Comics titles coming in June are as follows: Invincible Iron Man, All-New All-Different Avengers, All-New Inhumans, Carnage, Daredevil, Drax, Doctor Strange, Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur,New Avengers, Scarlet Witch, Squadron Supreme, Totally Awesome Hulk, Ultimates, Uncanny Inhumans, Venom: Space Knight, and Web Warriors.
