I loved this intro so, so, so much. And for context, I’ve only heard a handful of Sparks so far, since I started listening only in the past few months. So even getting the gist of the series with a couple episodes is enough to love this one.
Yay! I’ve waited in great anticipation for a new “Sparks” episode! I don’t know how people back in the day dealt with having to wait so long between episodes lol
If what you’re looking for is PFT, then definitely C, you want to go download the earliest possible “Beyond Belief” episode of TAH, and proceed from there. Personally, I’m most fond of the Sparks episodes, but PFT only makes an occasional appearance in them, and these last two are so saturated with in-jokes that they’ll be hard to be appreciate without some background. With those I would also start as early as possible, but it’s more important to listen to them in order because it’s actually a developing storyline. I would also recommend any of the “Captain Laserbeam” episodes for fun, cliche-ridden silver age superhero adventures.
Hey Con,
Sorry to say but, internet correct me if I’m wrong, I’m pretty sure this and the preceding Sparks are the only PFT spots.
If you’re looking for Tompkins killing it you needn’t look far. Beyond Belief is on this very same site under the same TAH banner.
This was a Great episode! PFT kills it again with that character!
Hey, I’ve never listened to one of these before. Can someone give me a god one to start on? Preferably one with PFT in it.
Thanks
Breaking before the theme song is even over has to be a record, but if anyone had to cause it, I’m glad it was PFT.
Hearing MEJ corpsing while singing the theme tune had me laughing out loud on train listening to podcast on the way to work. An instant classic!
Marc made the rookie mistake of laughing at PFT once and it was like blood in the water to Paul. After that, he was an insatiable monster…like a great white shark terrorizing a New England beach town.
King of Coffee and podcasts, PFT is constantly making this internet a better place. I am so on board with this storyline, I hope they take their time with it. Hearing Marc Evan Jackson and Busy Phillips break on stage was pure joy.
