Itâs been three years since Thorâs last solo adventure, and it appears that the time of the Norse Gods may be meeting their end in next yearâs in Thor: Ragnarok. The original script for the movie was said to be among the darkest stories that Marvel Studios has ever done, and itâs believed that one of the reasons Taika Waititi was chosen to direct the sequel was to bring some levity to it. Judging from Waititiâs latest dispatch, that includes the antics behind-the-scenes.
Via io9, Waititi left a tweet in which he blamed Thor himself, Chris Hemsworth for the unfortunate placement of Mjölnir in one of the restrooms on the set.
Thanks a lot dude. @chrishemsworth pic.twitter.com/f0SNw2GY3K

What? He left toilet paper. And itâs not like Waititi doesnât have a Hulk to give him a hand. Although, right about now, Vision would probably be more useful to have around.
Still, itâs good to see that Waititi having some fun when the cameras arenât rolling. This movie will be pairing up Thor with Mark Ruffaloâs Hulk/Bruce Banner as they go on a cosmic road trip and take down the Norse goddess of Death, Hela, as played by Cate Blanchett. Tessa Thompson is making her MCU debut in this film as Valkyrie, with Karl Urban as Skurge the Executioner, and Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster.
Tom Hiddleston will also be back as Loki, the God of Mischief who secretly overthrew Odin (Anthony Hopkins) during Thor: The Dark World and who now rules Asgard disguised as his own adoptive father. This movie will also reunite Loki and the Hulk for the first time since their classic scene in The Avengers, and weâd love to see if Waititi can give us another instantly iconic and hilarious moment with those characters.
Thor: Ragnarok will be released on November 3, 2017.
