Welcome to another awesome week of shows at NerdMelt Showroom at Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles, shows like the album release/show for Suck It, Christmas A Chanukah Album, What’s New, Power Violence, Fringe Riders, and more. Of course, there is The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail and our weekly open mic, too. You should probably just move in. Get comfortable. It’s going to be a great week.

December 7th at 8pm it’s Suck It, Christmas!

Jews and Jew Lovers! Come see the album concert/release party for Suck It, Christmas: A Chanukah Album, written and performed by Rachel Bloom (Robot Chicken, You Can Touch My Boobies), Dan Gregor (How I Met Your Mother), and Jack Dolgen (NTSF:SD:SUV). Come see songs about Jews, by Jews, for Jews.

With special guests: Adam Pally (Happy Endings, Iron Man 3), Zach Pearlman (The Virginity Hit, Community), Gil Ozeri (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Happy Endings), Gilli Nissim (UCB, NTSF:SD:SUV), Danny Jolles (Chess Club Comedy, UCB), and Cyrus Ghahremani (Gelmania, Hot Karate).

December 8th at 5pm it’s Nerdist Writer’s Panel!

Join NWP creator/moderator Ben Blacker (Thrilling Adventure Hour), and Sons of Anarchy superfans/writers Jessica Goldstein (Cougar Town) and Paul Grellong (Revolution) for this 90-minute chat with the always-candid Kurt Sutter about his career, choices made in the show, out of the show, the state of the business, and the possible future of Sons of Anarchy.

Proceeds from all Nerdist Writers Panels benefit 826LA, the national nonprofit tutoring program.

NerdFight is the comedy/game show with WWE attitude. Top comics perform as original characters in a bizarre trivia brawl. Their prize? performing stand-up for YOU!

Featuring: The Walsh Brothers (The Walsh Bros’ Great and Secret Comedy Show), Emily Maya Mills (Comedy Bang Bang), Ron Babcock (Adam Devine’s House Party), Asterios Killings (NPR).

With hosts Laura Crawford (Boston Comedy Festival) and Adam Murray (NerdTerns).

December 10th at 9pm it’s What’s New!

What’s New is a live standup show and Nerdist Industries podcast (subscribe to the podcast here) featuring amazing stand up comedy. It’s new material. It’s a headliner. It’s insight into the process. Also, it’s FREE and there’s some FREE BEER too. Yes. Yes. Yes.

At The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, you’ll see some of the biggest comics, up and coming acts just before they get famous, and as always, surprise drop-ins that will knock your socks off.

Power Violence is Whit, Clay, Budd, and Rod. They are a comedy collective living in LA. Their live show is a chaotic blend of interactive bits that always involve EXTREME FRIENDSHIP. Come see them, along with a couple comedian pals, perform a bunch of bits that are sure to leave you covered in toilet paper and other types of heathen ammo.

December 12th at 9pm it’s This Show Is Your Show with Matt and Moses!

This show is more than a show. It’s your show. Matt Bennett (Victorious, The Virginity Hit) and Moses Storm presents a night featuring Matt, Moses, and friends, and even some special guests, for an hour of standup, sketch, music, interviews, and more.
