It all happens this week…we all enter the next generation of home-video-game consoles when the PlayStation 4 comes out on November 15…and there is also a whole host of amazing shows at  NerdMelt Showroom at Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles. So. Many. Great. Shows. Che-che-check it out!

November 9th at 2pm it’s Puppet Town!

Puppets! Music! Sketch Comedy! Fun! With a cast of comedians from iO, Second City, Groundlings, and UCB, along with puppeteers from Broadway’s Avenue Q – it’s never ending fun in Puppet Town!

Puppet Mastery by Christian Anderson and Puppet Design by Derek Lux (Ovation Award Winners: Puppet Design – Shrek the Musical). Directed by Megan Grano (Jim Belushi and the Chicago Board of Comedy, former staff writer – Jimmy Kimmel Live). With special musical guests: The Spectaculars! Created by Alex Fox and Rachel Lewis.

$8 in advance, $10 at the door. Kids under 12 are free.

November 9th at 7pm – The Mo Show with Mo Welch!

The Mo Show is an hour long evening chat show packed with stand up comedy, guests and videos all hosted by Mo Welch! Featuring The Walsh Brothers (Comedy Central), Erin Foley (Conan), Mollie Merkel, Hollywood’s Jesus, Liquid Feet Dance Troupe, and more!

$8 in advance, $10 at the door.

November 9th at 9pm it’s Horrible Movie Night!

Shout at the movies! We screen the worst films you’ve never seen, and invite YOU to roast them — the best one-liners of the night will win prizes. If you like MST3K and RiffTrax, this is your scene!

Your hosts for the evening, John Mathot (Disney’s Phineas & Ferb) and Susan Wright (The Because Show podcast), and special guest co-host Bobcat Goldthwait will present 1979’s C.H.O.M.P.S.

Plus, one of the stars of the movie, Wesley Eure and legendary film critic Bill Harris will be in the house! Expect awesomeness! There’ll be great stand-up comedy, and also FREE POPCORN! This is one dog of a film you gotta see!

November 10th at 8pm it’s Harmontown!

What is Harmontown? It’s awesome. It’s unique. It’s one of a kind. It’s something only Dan Harmon (creator of Community and the upcoming Rick and Morty) and Jeff B. Davis (Whose Line is it Anyway) can do. It’s a different show every time and it’s every week. Lucky us! Playing Dungeons and Dragons? It’s happened. Dan Harmon freestyle rapping? Yup, that too. Calling Chevy Chase from stage? Happened…more than once. A celebrity guest? Allison Brie, Donald Glover, and Gillian Jacobs among others have all stopped in. November 11th at 7pm it’s Nerdist Open Mic!

November 12th at 7pm it’s The Diana & Devine Meet the Apocalypse Variety Hour!

Music! Comedy! Juggling! The comedy duo responsible for Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (Robotic Edition) and the feature film The Selling are hosting a variety show to promote their next film Diani & Devine Meet the Apocalypse (now funding on Kickstarter)!

With special guests Barry Bostwick (Rocky Horror Picture Show, Spin City), Cole Stratton (Pop My Culture Podcast, SF Sketchfest), Janet Varney (Legend of Korra, Burning Love), Geoff Mann Sextet, and more!

November 12th at 9pm it’s What’s New!

What’s New is a live standup show and Nerdist Industries podcast featuring amazing stand up comedy. It’s new material. It’s a headliner. It’s insight into the process. Also, it’s FREE and there’s some FREE BEER too. Yes. Yes. Yes.

Jonah Ray and Kumail Nanjiani helm the good ship Meltdown every single Wednesday, to host the show that’s been named one of the best live shows in LA by LA Weekly, Splitsider, and more. At The Meltdown with Jonah and Kumail, you’ll see some of the biggest comics, up and coming acts just before they get famous, and as always, surprise drop-ins that will knock your socks off.

November 14th at 9pm it’s This Show Is Your Show with Matt and Moses!

This show is more than a show. It’s your show. Matt Bennett (Victorious, The Virginity Hit) and Moses Storm presents a night featuring Matt and Moses, their friends, and even some special guests, for an hour of music, comedy, interviews, and general awesomeness.
