Dear stores, restaurants, cafes, etc., we get it, it’s October, you have pumpkin in stuff. Congratulations. Can we move on with something non-pumpkin already? What? We can? Great! How does this sound?: Here is a fantastic week of shows at the NerdMelt Showroom at Meltdown Comics in Los Angeles, all without pumpkin spice added.*
*We cannot 100% guarantee that there will be no pumpkin spice at this week’s shows…because, well, you know, pumpkin spice stuff is pretty great, right?!?!?
October 12th at 9pm it’s Horrible Movie Night!

Baker (Booze Cruise, Nerdist) and guest comedians Jay Larson and Jim Hamilton will present 1995’s Voodoo, starring Corey Feldman and Jack Nance (Twin Peaks, Eraserhead). Corey plays Andy, who wants to be closer to his girlfriend when she enrolls in college, so he joins a very strange fraternity on campus.  A lot of dead bodies later, it seems his frat brothers are up to some occult shenanigans, and may not be — well, alive.
