This Teen Girl Movie Tribute is So Fetch

It seems nothing says teenage girl like badass lady empowerment of all types. If you were ever a teenage girl, or knew a teenage girl, you’ve probably at least heard of (or seen) films like Clueless, The Craft, Bring It On, The Princess Diaries, She’s All That or Mean Girls. The list goes on. If you were a fan of the films or are just looking for a fun thing to watch on a Saturday afternoon, look no further than this ultimate tribute to teen girl films!

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Clueless, video editor Robert Jones whipped up an excellent combination of the iconic teen girl films from the last 20 years that’s got us feeling all the nostalgic feels. Think you can find a better mash-up of all things teen girl? To that I say, as if!

Jokes aside, it’s fun to see how many things these films have in common once they’re put side by side. At the beginning of the tribute, we’re greeted with the familiar “cool” girl strut own the high school hallways. There’s also lots of dancing, makeover scenes, the iconic walk down the staircase, and lots and lots of falling. Plus, what teen film would be complete without the first foot-popping kiss?

Princess Diaries Kiss

If you enjoyed the video, make sure to check out the editor’s mash-up of Happy Days and Pulp Fiction we covered a couple of months back. There is also tons of great work on his YouTube channel. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go find out how many of these films are on Netflix.

Does this bring back memories? What other films do you recognize? Let us know in the comments below.
