Disney has introduced many adorable characters in its animated films over the last several decades, but none of them hold a candle to Big Hero 6’s Baymax. I say this with sincere apologies to Stitch and baby Pegasus. It’s just the way it is. Baymax is round and squishy, he’s thoughtful, and he walks with an endearing toddle. I want Baymax put on every piece of merchandise possible, but it didn’t occur to me that he would make the best lamp ever. Now that I’ve seen infoThink’s posable Baymax LED lamp, I won’t look at other lamps the same because they’re not Baymax. Thanks for ruining lighting, Disney.
The lamp would work well for your desk or your nightstand. It’s USB powered and has five different lighting modes that appear to be controlled with a remote, including a “Soothing Sleep Mode.” That setting starts at 80% brightness and gradually decreases and fades. It’s like the lamp really is a healthcare companion! Other modes include Fade, Smooth Breathing (maybe Baymax helps you meditate?), Flash, and Multi Effects.
And guess what? You can move and pose his head and hands. I’d like to be able to adjust his legs too, but I’ll get over it. I’m considering replacing every single lamp in my house with this. Would that be overkill?
