“No matter who wins or loses, trouble always comes around” – Nick Fury
Nick Fury offers some words of wisdom in the latest trailer for the highly anticipated Avengers: Age of Ultron, and from the looks of it, the Avengers are not only losing, but they’re in deep, deep trouble. Marvel Studios’ latest look at the Joss Whedon-directed sequel offers us a heaping helping of brand new footage including some spectacular sequences of Iron Man’s Hulkbuster armor taking on the very reason it was created and even more creepy Pinocchio-sounding music:
There you go — that ought to take care of any bad taste left lingering in your mouth after last week’s Ant-Man teaser trailer. Not to say that the Ant-Man teaser was bad, but this is much more in keeping with the level of quality I’ve come to expect from Marvel Studios’ marketing department. Clocking in at 1 minute and 40 seconds, the new trailer shows the Avengers at each other’s throats, sparring both verbally and, in some cases, literally. Although we do get a nice little E.T.-esque moment between Black Widow and the Hulk, which is a nice change of pace, the rest of the proceedings are decidedly dour. Case in point: Ultron beating the ever-loving snot out of Captain America (and presumably breaking his shield), and an unsettling sequence of Andy Serkis (who I’ll bet my bottom dollar is playing Ulysses Klaw) training a gun on someone.
Just in case you want to scrutinize some of the scenes further, here’s a bunch of screencaps:
And one more for the road:
Avengers: Age of Ultron is in theaters on May 1, 2015.
What was your favorite moment? Did you spot any other Easter eggs? Let us know in the comments below.

The woman behind Thor looks more like Mantis.
The ruins from 1:03 are the ones from Captain America: The first avenger
SERIOUSLY NERDIST. FIX YOUR SHITTY IMAGE GALLERY. This is why i never come to your site. Its extremely annoying (and lazy from the development side)
Moondragon has ties to Dr Strange through her father Douglas (Thanos) who is connected to the Guardians as well as ties to Warlock who is rumored to be Starlord’s father, and she was the keeper of the mind gem and held by Oden.
Moondragon is Drax the Destroyer’s daughter. Arthur Douglas was Drax’s original name from when he was human.
I think the red energy shooter is the Scarlet witch
I think the lady behind Thor is Enchantress. Why not?
The lady in the background of the Thor being electrocuted shot, looked to have black hair to me. If not Moondragon, (which I doubt for a number of reasons) could possibly be someone else who wore (partially) green and had a very skimpy outfit…. Mantis. (Initially she wasn’t green skinned)
Then that makes me think the OTHER woman is actually Moondragon because of their connection
Who is the girl at 0:36? Shoots something red from her hand
That’d be Scarlet Witch
That’s Scarlet Witch
Siphoning Thor’s power. GREEN clothing. My money is on Enchantress.
That makes the most sense to me
Okay I must be seeing someone else behind Thor because the only woman I see in that scene has a full head of hair pulled back in a ponytail…
The Dora Milaje are the personal bodyguards of the Black Panther. That is the bald disrobing woman.
Anyone else Roadie in the background?
The woman disrobing – and seen again later with Thor – is most likely the character known as Moondragon. Here’s some more about here and the trailer 🙂

Woman in the robe could be a link to Wakanda. We were supposedly going to get a glimpse of something Black Panther-y tonight, and Andy Serkis as Klaw likely wasn’t it.
Bald person disrobing by the inderground pool around the :30 mark. Who the heck is that? Moondragon?
No, look for Moondragon behind Thor when he is getting lite up. I have a feeling the woman by the pool is Black Panther’s sister.
who was that at about the 32-33 second mark, the chick? dropping the robe..
I think it´s T´challa´s little sister: Shuri.
