Ah, Valentine’s Day. Whether you have a sweetheart or not, there’s always something special about sending (or receiving) a fun card to mark the occasion. If you have a special Fallout fan in your lifeâand let’s face it, you probably do, because Fallout 4 was amazingâbut have yet to find the right card, we’re about to blow your mind like an atom bomb, baby (little atom bomb). How are we going to do that, you might ask? With these totally rad V-Day cards designed by artist Jillian Bakos (a.k.a. msjillyjelly), that’s how!
Come on, look how cute Dogmeat is! While “finding a cutie” probably isn’t part of the laundry list of tricks he can do, it’s adorable nonetheless. It’s also beautifully drawn, so we give major props to the artist.
If you’re date is on the fancier side, why not give them the Codsworth one above? This one’s best when read aloud in a British accent.
And what collection would be complete without the Institute’s X6-88? He’s sort of cute in a way… for a synth.
If you’re noticing a trend here, that’s because all of the cards feature Fallout 4 companions, which are characters you can recruit to join you on your trek through the wasteland. They all feature creative Valentine’s Day puns unique to the specific characters’ interests and roles. To see the rest of the cards, check out the gallery below.
As I’m sure you’re well aware, this isn’t the first time fans have created art based on the game. Since it launched back in November, we’ve seen a 3D-printed Codsworth, LEGO Pip Boy, and LEGO minifigures. Heck, there was even a PC mod that allowed players to wield a sick lightsaber. The community is definitely full of creative folks.
