These Authentic GAME OF THRONES Recipes Look Incredibly Delicious

We are days away from the new season of Game Of Thrones and are at the edge of our iron thrones about what will happen in the coming months. As a way to try and satiate our appetites for the show, YouTube’s Binging with Babish cooked up some Westerosi-inspired recipes in a new video.

Andrew Rea (a.k.a. “Babish”) is dedicated to creating dishes from all manner of movies and TV shows and his latest is no exception. Taking inspiration from some culinary moments in Game of Thrones, he makes a few dishes including a Purple Wedding pigeon pie (sans the live birds baked inside), lemon cakes, and a Dothraki blood pie that doesn’t look half bad!http://nerdist.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/07/BingingBabishGIF.gif

Both the pigeon and blood pies are a bit of an undertaking for casual chefs and likely only suited for those with a die-hard love of the show and/or slightly adventurous palate since some of the ingredients in both of those recipes are a bit difficult to track down if you don’t know where to look. However, the lemon cakes seem like something welcome at most any dinner party.

What we love about Binging with Babish is the approach to each dish that’s made. A good portion of the ideas can be a bit silly but Rea always does his best to create them as accurately as possible. And, in the cases of weird or impossible ingredients, he does his best to find a proper analog in order to complete the recipe. After all, this is the man that had to figure out the flavor of a lobster soul and collected his own tears for flavoring.

What’s your favorite Babish recreation? Let’s discuss in the comments below!
