There are just some things that are unforgivable, the kind of transgressions that are impossible to forgive and forget, no matter how many times that person may then try to make amends for what they did. Kind of like what Ramsay Snow did to make Theon Greyjoy the traumatized sub-human known as Reek.
Yet, there the two of them were, having a hug (and a sneak-attack peck on the lips) on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where Alfie Allen (Theon/Reek) and Iwan Rheon (Ramsay Snow, now Ramsay Bolton) were asked by the host to show the audience that their animosity does not extend past filming Game of Thrones.
Heck, even Ramsay’s father Roose Bolton, played by Michael McElhatton, was on hand to get into the love fest with a big group hug. We first saw the unthinkable on TVLine, and while seeing Reek and Ramsay hug it out is weird, we also got to see a clip from the upcoming sixth season featuring a fleeing Theon begging Sansa to cross icy river waters to avoid being followed by Ramsay’s hounds.
We’re going to bet that when the show resumes this Sunday (yes! life has meaning again!) that Theon and Ramsay won’t be sharing any kisses, unless it’s the kind of kiss you give someone using steel.
What two characters sharing a friendly hug could be weirder than these two? Cersei and Tyrion? The Hound and the Mountain? Tell us yours in the comments below.
The Game of Thrones cast also gets silly playing a Game of Superlatives with our own Alicia Lutes:
