And man, I would love to see Kurt Angle come back… but not take out Rusev, but instead be partnered up with Swagger! I can’t believe you didn’t mention that since earlier, you were high on Swagger! Who else could push him as a true American now that he’s getting some support? Have Kurt come back and back Swagger – which will keep him on the mic and out of the ring (which is good because his body has go to be messed up after years in TNA) – and then get people pumped for Swagger.
I mean, imagine Swagger coming out to Angle’s theme? That would be an epic moment! And – I gotta side with Funches here – I like that they’re pushing younger talent. Kurt should be used to push someone younger, not take up some spotlight.
IF he heads back to the WWE, that is. Guess we’ll see! He could head to Global Force Wrestling.
Rob Funches is a fantastic guest! I’m not always onboard with the guy – his energy level, since he’s high more often than not – is just too low and giggly sometimes. But here, he was doing great. He’s too passionate and energized when talking about Pro Wrestling, and I loved hearing this side of the guy!
