Quick. Stop what you’re doing and ask the nearest person to do a celebrity impression. Chances are they’ll utter a weird, guttural yawp masquerading as Arnold Schwarzenegger or stumble through Christopher Walken’s “Two mice fell into a bucket of cream” speech while sounding more Australian than authentic. But if you were to ask The Walking Dead star Ross Marquand, he would seamlessly transition into not one, not two, but seventeen different celebrity impressions, which is exactly what he did in a new video from Vanity Fair.
While you may know him best as Aaron, the good-natured recruiter from Alexandria on The Walking Dead, this video will make you wonder who he really is. After all, Marquand busts out killer impressions of Matthew McConaughey, Harrison Ford, Al Pacino, George Clooney, Michael Caine, Kevin Spacey, and many, many more. The best part though may be the hyper-specific situations in which these impressions take place. My personal favorite is Michael Caine trying to open a jar for someone.
Or Kevin Spacey at the wrong table read:
If nothing else, it’s comforting to know that if Marquand’s character meets an untimely end when Negan and the Saviors make their way on to The Walking Dead later this year, he’ll be able to get work doing ADR and voiceovers for celebrities who are too expensive to bring in for the day.
Which impression is your favorite? What others would you like to see him attempt? Let us know in the comments below!
