Enjoy the podcast, is there episode with your old partners on the jimmy dore podcast?

    Thanks!

  2. Nick says:

One of the things that struck me about this episode was the discussion you had with the kid who believed his 15 year old brother was too young to know what his sexuality was, and felt it was appropriate to tease him over it. I agree that 15 is not “too young to know,” and most kids, straight or gay, begin to discover their physical attractions at far younger ages.

But, just to play devil’s advocate, what if he is too young to know? What if he is just confused, and trying to figure things out? How is teasing him going to help? Let him figure it out on his own. If it were just a phase, do you think this kid is going to announce, “Hey, sorry about that whole ‘coming out’ thing. I like pussy now. Thanks for being a jerk about it. It really helped.”

    Thanks for the bonus episode!

Always love the special bonus episodes.

One twist on this that I’d love to hear is if you could get someone with an opposing viewpoint, even a 90%er, to come on and debate you. Like you did back on C&EE with the spanking thing. Even if you don’t change their mind, I think having someone there who’s reacting and firing back will help sharpen your argument to an even finer point.

And, hearing someone’s nonsensical viewpoint get broken down is like candy. Much like that Anderson Cooper clip, it’s just satisfying, like a good revenge movie. Think about it!

  4. John G. says:

“There’s nowhere my penis has been where my finger wasn’t first.”
    Daniel Kinno, ladies and gentlemen.

  5. Tom Steele says:

Great episode. If anyone cares, the book Daniel recommended, Ladies and Gentlemen, The Bible, is by Jonathan Goldstein of CBC radio’s WireTap. Great radio show that also has a podcast version. Goldstein reads some of his stories, and airs recorded phone conversations with a crazy cast of characters. He’s been on This American Life. Sorry to plug away here, just saying this as a fan of both shows, thought listeners might enjoy both.
