Hey guys- if you knew anything at all about Todd, it would’ve been really easy to recognize that obviously Danny and Todd didn’t know that tranny has become a word that transgendered people prefer not be used. Danny was talking about his uncle who he loves. It was very obvious to me that this was a case where he didn’t have the information. I was surprised to hear on today’s episode that people were on this page knocking Todd for it. There is a difference between kindly educating someone and being rude about it. When you are rude when trying to educate someone, the likelihood of the information being rejected is more. Be kind with your advice for people- it will work better!
I’m not necessarily angry with Todd, but I’m disappointed and if he really is serious about evolving, he should address it and apologize.
And that Paul McCartney stuff was hilarious
I agree Jason. I would not be surprised if Todd addresses this and even apologizes on the next ep. Knee-jerk anger does not help anybody. It was fucked up that they were saying it and seemingly using their identity as the butt of the joke, but the sky has not fallen. If the next episode includes defending the use, which i very highly doubt it will, then the anger is welcome imo.

It’s not yet common knowledge that the T word is offensive. I feel that if Todd didn’t address it, it’s because he doesn’t know. By confronting ignorance with anger you make yourselves look foolish.
This episode was so funny I had to pinch myself.
Todd, I want to start off by saying I fucking love your show. I love the format you guys do with jumping in and out of bit, the music, etc. I think you’re hilarious. But whats with the “tranny” business this week? It may seem like a normalized word in society (and even amongst some trans folks) these days but it’s also the last thing that trans people here before they get knocked out by some hateful asshole on the street.
