I think he *might* be referring to Kathy Griffin.
She’s been on TV continually for ages, with a series here and a series there– plus a bunch of 60-minute specials.
Granted, it’s off in basic cable nowheres-ville, so maybe he couldn’t possibly mean Kathy Griffin.
I can see how some standups might not think she’s funny, since her material isn’t “really” material, just gossip.
I can imagine a standup saying she’s not funny, but merely… humorous, and if you’re not a fan of that, you’re not a fan of that.
Just a thought.
Madigan and Bamford aren’t on television enough to be the one Pardo was referring to. My guess is Chelsea Handler as well. She has her own show and also she is very not funny.
Guys, don’t hat me but I really miss Chris on the boards. Not saying these last few weeks were bad shows because I loved the Graham episodes but Chris just has that knack for knowing when to hit the specific sound cue when Todd isn’t expecting it which adds just that extra “umf” of comedy. Granted this weeks gaf turned into a bit but just saying….
What’s his name? Bill Wheaton? I hope Todd was just doing a bit there.
It’s DEFINITELY Chelsea Handler. He used to go on and on about her on Never Not Funny.
Huh the first two big female comedians that came to my mind were Kathleen Madigan and Maria Bamford; Madigan being the more well known and she definitely holds some stronger opinions on politics if that’s what Pardo was hinting at.
Hey I forgot to say this: awesome show guys! Pardo is improv ambrosia.
Lisa- I’d guess Chelsea Handler…
What female comedian is Pardo referring to?
I had a really bad day at work, and I do a lot of talking there, so when I come home I don’t use a lot of words. When I saw this posted, all I could say was “LOVE”.
