Walking on Hollywood Boulevard is definitely an exercise in eye stimulation. From the Walk of Fame to the Chinese Theatre to the Auntie Anne’s Pretzel shop in the mall, there is always something interesting to see. One of the mainstays has to be the costumed characters that travel the sidewalks, always willing to say hi and take pictures with tourists (for a nominal fee of course). Superman, Spider-Man, Optimus Prime, and Captain Jack Sparrow are just some of the names you will find there.
If you happen to run across the Terminator, make sure you take a second look, because you might be looking at Arnold himself. That’s what happened in the video above, as Arnold Schwarzenegger took up his guise as the cyborg from the future, not to save mankind from extinction, but to play pranks on unsuspecting victims. This is for promotion for Terminator: Genisys as well as his Omaze campaign to raise money for After School All-Stars.
After picking out some new shades and having a run-in with his doppelganger, Arnold made his way to Madame Tussaud’s Wax Attraction and filled in for a bit while his statue finally got to take that long awaited restroom break. He made sure that fans wanting to get a picture with the Terminator received an experience they wouldn’t soon forget.
Terminator:Genisys opens in theaters July 1st. If you would like to donate to Arnold’s Omaze campaign, you can do so here.
How did you like the video? Do you think you would have fallen for Arnold’s disguise, or would you have jumped 100 feet in the air too? Let me know on Twitter or in the comments below.
