The STAR WARS and Marvel Universes Collide in this BB-AVENGERS T-Shirt

Has any movie character in recent memory garnered as much fan adoration before folks have even witnessed his film debut as Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens‘ BB-8? The little ball droid has quickly become the anti-Jar Jar, drawing almost as much attention to J.J. Abrams’ continuation of George Lucas’ saga as the return of the original Star Wars characters themselves. Of course, since we live in a golden age of pop culture mashups, BB-8 has already begun inspiring artists. Check out this new t-shirt design by UK illustrator/tattooist/sculptor Yayzus

Yes, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have never looked so adorable (even without the presence of a BB-Hawkeye, BB-Black Widow, or BB-Vision), and that’s really saying something when one stops to think of all the Avengers Mighty Muggs, LEGO, and plush toys we’ve seen of late. Still, if you prefer to keep your love for Star Wars’ newest droid within the family, so to speak, Yayzus has also created — BB-Fett! I know plenty of folks who would gladly turn themselves over to Jabba the Hutt if it meant spending time in the company of the cutest Mandalorian this side of Bespin…

Both the BB-Avengers and BB-Fett shirts are available through TeePublic.

But how about you? Have you fallen for the ball droid yet? And are there any other characters in the Marvel or Star Wars universes that you’d like to see reduced to the simple shape of a sphere and dome? Would a BB-Wolverine, a BB-Daredevil, or a BB-Punisher make your like complete? Let us know below!
