Oh, yeah. According to Joe Adalian at New York Magazine’s Vulture blog, David Brent will be briefly seen with Michael Scott.

Ricky Gervais will do a cameo in the cold open of the January 27th episode of “The Office” as David Brent, the boss in his original BBC version of the series. They aren’t saying what the circumstances will be, or how he’ll interact, if at all, with Steve Carell’s Michael Scott, but there it is. For those of us who revere the original, this is a set-the-DVR-RIGHT-NOW situation.
