The Rock Keeps Pranking Kevin Hart on the JUMANJI Set

The upcoming Jumanji sequel is zipping through production, but Kevin Hart is gonna be lucky if he comes out of the jungle in one piece. But it’s not the jungle creatures or elements that Hart has to worry about, it’s his co-star, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson!

Via io9, Johnson has posted a few videos on his Instagram account that reveal that Hart is deathly afraid of the bugs living in the jungle. So, of course Johnson has been pranking Hart about that fear whenever he gets the chance. In this video, Johnson used a stick to make Hart think that an insect was on his leg.

Hart took that joke in good humor, but he was a lot less enthusiastic when Johnson threw a rubber spider on him just as they were about to begin shooting a scene. Admittedly, it was pretty funny to see Hart take off running while Johnson and the crew broke out into laughter. And even Hart couldn’t resist smiling after that one. Although we have to wonder how Hart will react when he inevitably has a close encounter of the insect kind that wasn’t the Rock’s doing!

Even Jumanji director Jake Kasdan wasn’t immune to Johnson’s pranks. On Kasdan’s birthday, Johnson shared the following photo, which he claimed held his secret for taking direction from Kasdan.

It looks like Johnson has helped set a light tone for the new Jumanji, which hopefully bodes well for the finished film. We’ll see if Jumanji can be as much fun as these pranks when it opens in theaters on July 28, 2017.
