During the first season of Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) traded in his black outfit for a more superhero-style costume to serve as a symbol of hope for his city. And after the fall of Wilson Fisk, Daredevil hasn’t had much competition as a symbol.

That changes now. The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and Elektra (Elodie Yung) are coming to Hell’s Kitchen, and they’re bringing trouble with them. Netflix has released a new teaser video from the upcoming season of Daredevil that features the title character suiting up for action as the Punisher and Elektra do the same.

The Punisher represents a unique threat to Daredevil, as his lethal methods will force Matt to question whether he’s only making things worse for his city. As for Elektra, she seems to be interested in dragging Matt down to her level as she pulls him into her war against the ninja clan known as the Hand.

But how will the Punisher and Elektra interact with each other? So far, the two characters have remained separate in the trailers for Daredevil’s second season. And it’s entirely possible that they may not meet at all. However, there’s also the possibility that the Punisher’s willingness to kill criminals could be just what Elektra needs in her conflict with the Hand. And it could be a very stinging betrayal if Elektra turned to Matt’s nemesis for aid in that conflict.

All 13 episodes of Daredevil season two will premiere on March 18.
