    Drool

  2. Yep.This has me feeling all types of excited. The first movie I didn’t like until i saw it for the 15th time – seriously, I’m hard on the movie adaptations of my favorite comic books…. ITS JUST THE WAY I AM OK!?!?!!
but this trailer out of the gate has me erect.

  3. Damocles74 says:

I know im old crumudgeon and these movies arent geared towards me, but it just seems like lazy story telling. So at least 3 villians who make an appearence in this movie and alluding to 2 others will have all their powers and/or equipment supplied by Oscorp? well isnt that convienent. Now i know the whole Harry/Peter relationship has been a source of some great stories just jamming harry in and automatically making him the bad guy doesnt make me believe these 2 were friends. as much as i disliked Spider-Man 3, I at least believed it when Harry felt betrayed and seeked revenge. that’s because we had 3 movies of build up. and i agree with most of the posts here that this thing looks like it will be CGI’ed to death. I understand they need to do it for Electro but it looked like the Harry Goblin was just as fake. So much like the first Amazing Spider-Man, I’m gonna give this one a pass as well.

  4. NYCrex says:

I agree with most of the commenters. Why stuff all these villains into the sequel? I was definitely excited to find out about the man in the post-credit teaser (did expect it to be osborne) but there no way we can get a full story on each. Electro looks bizarre and we never even saw Paul Giamatti. And yes, Harry does look a bit light in the loafers.

    Weak

  5. Dan Hartman says:

Entirely too much going on in this movie. Once again, less is sometimes more, and in this case, more is too much. Also, quit trying to make everyone Iron Man. Rhino as a robotic exoskeleton is a terrible direction to take the character IMO. Sadly, of the 5 Spider-Man movies in recent history, this is the first I can honestly say I am not looking forward too. This reboot series is rapidly railroading itself towards the same disaster the Clone Saga was in the comics. sigh

  6. JetpackBlues says:

Is that a young Chris Hardwick playing Hairy Osborn? He’ll be Green Goblin on those hair drapes for sure!

  7. Jan Zukowski says:

Sinister Six? Why not? Should be a fun watch

  8. Casey says:

Almost never is the CGI complete for a trailer this early before the movie opens. I am optimistic. If the Avengers can have multiple heroes then why not have multiple villains? Anyway, I will hold my judgment until I see the movie

  9. Jodie says:

    Can’t wait, it looks great.

  10. CaseyMcG says:

Has only – Only has…which one is the split infinitive?? Looooooosers!!!!

  11. I’ve never been so excited to see Spidey face off his classic villains Abe Sapien Electro, Pacific Rim Rhino, and the Green Count Olaf Goblin!!!

  12. CaseyMcG says:

And the name Peter Parker. Does this mean that Peter is parking his Peter in a specific place? Get my drift? I knew that you did. He has no handicap sticker.

  13. Alchemist says:

I watched this morning. Im still cleaning jizz out of my pants….

  14. CaseyMcG says:

Spiders have eight legs. This sad excuss of the arachnid species only has two legs. My release of the movie-feasibility factor has diminished exponentially (x 8). Looooosers!!!

  15. Gabriel says:

I am still not a fan of Garfunkle emo cool Peter Parker but the cgi looks like a great video game

  16. RandyW says:

Looks like more of the same but bigger, louder and more CGI. *Yawn*

  17. Adrien says:

Lost interest after the FIRST Spider-Man 2.

  18. The Warden says:

sad. apparently, we have learned nothing from Spiderman 3. trying to cram multiple villains into a single movie only serves to dilute the plot and doesn’t offer sufficient development for any character. and the same will apply to Superman 2 except, in this case, it is heroes. leave the multiples to the group movies like The Avengers or Justice League.

  19. Mike M says:

Let me rephrase that. More like the Gay Gobblin. Because of what he gobbles.

    Cocks.

  20. Mike M says:

Green Goblin? More like the Gay Goblin.

  21. Kayloni says:

That trailer had me wanting so much more. The sole fact that he’ll e going against three villains in one movie is crazy. So many superhero movies only have one main villain, but this one is throwing a curve ball.

  22. Kyle Anderson says:

GUYS! CGI EVERYWHERE! I’VE NEVER SEEN SO MUCH CGI! ISN’T THAT IMPRESSIVE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

    It is not.

  23. NeuroMan42 says:

I saw Vulture’s wings and Doc Ock’s tentacles in that preview.

  24. Levy says:

    Weak

  25. RG says:

Doesn’t matter, in the end. Every Spiderman movie made by Sony is one less made by Marvel proper… and one less added to the actual Marvel cinematic continuity.

  26. Atte says:

OK I’m totally in for this one! Can’t wait!

  27. Jeff says:

    Not Archangel wings, probably Vulture’s.

  28. Mark S says:

I’m with T_ on this … it runs the risk of falling into the Batman Forever/ & Robin, Spider-man 3 trap of losing itself to the introduction of too many new characters. Rhino, Electro, the Osbournes, it’s a lot to cram in there. I’ll hold off judgement until I see it of course. Christopher Nolan managed to pull it off well enough. Maybe these guys can as well. Regardless, looks like a lot of fun!

  29. N. Tamayo says:

I am content with the trailer. Hope the cgi is a bit more polished for the final release. Very happy with all the easter eggs.

  30. Robert says:

Loved the first movie and I like what I saw in the trailer but I would have to agree with Travis on the CGI. One or two scenes in there where you could tell it was a CG Spidey and not the actor. Considering they did a good job with blending the two in the first one, surprised at that, but hopefully they’ll get that sorted by the time the movie is released

  31. T_ says:

Ok…despite what I have said in the past…consider me impressed…but the only concern is are here too many villains in this and will that hurt the narrative? Only time and ticket sales will tell…

  32. Travis says:

So far, I’m not impressed. Don’t get me wrong, I liked everything about it, but the special effects were definitely on the same level as Green Lantern..

  33. David says:

This is going to be a great 5 hour movie! Can’t wait.

  34. Jason says:

Was that Doc Oc’s tentacle backpack I saw in the background? at 1:14? Hoping those were not Archangel wings next to it, too.

  35. Ben Berkowitz says:

    Let’s do this.

  36. Danny says:

Love the fact that there were so many easter eggs! Doc Ock! Vulture!
