I have to admit, if it weren’t for Downton Abbey, I probably wlodun’t have given this time period a second glance. I’m mostly an American historical fiction kind of person. But as soon as I got hooked on DA, I wanted to know more about this period outside of America. The show has definitely spurred an interest, as I’m seeing tweets all over the place saying if you like DA you’ll enjoy these books.
