Both Target and K-Mart announced that they will be doing some restructuring, and, consequently, several employees will be let go. The most surprising thing about this news is that I thought K-Mart went out of business years ago. It’s not even used in a joke reference for slumming it when you’re shopping for clothes and such (that’s on Goodwill and The Salvation Army now), but apparently they’re still around. You know what you don’t have to wonder if they’re around or not (mostly because a daily column doesn’t file for bankruptcy)?
