THE MINORITY REPORT WITH LARRY WILMORE to Replace THE COLBERT REPORT

The mystery of who or what would replace The Colbert Report at Comedy Central has officially come to a close. Comedy Central announced yesterday that Larry Wilmore, the Senior Black Correspondent at The Daily Show, has been chosen to take over the coveted 11:30PM slot. The new series, The Minority Report with Larry Wilmore, is set to premiere in January 2015.

According to Comedy Central’s press release, The Minority Report will “…provide a platform to underrepresented voices in comedy and media providing comedy, commentary and a cultural point of view on the news of the day.” Hopefully, this new addition to the late night scene will keep the Internet and its trolling hordes at bay. Wilmore should be familiar to The Daily Show loyal, but you might also recognize him from his Showtime special Race, Religion, and Sex, or that time he gave Michael Scott some diversity training on the U.S. version of The Office.

This news gives us a bit of a clearer picture of what the new late night television landscape will look like in 2015. Though we know Stephen Colbert is set to take over for David Letterman at The Late Show, Letterman has been vague about when exactly that would occur. The Minority Report with Larry Wilmore, on the other hand, has a pretty obvious start date (the beginning of 2015) that gives us a better idea of when The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will debut.

Now that Comedy Central has made their move, it’s time for CBS to choose a replacement for Craig Ferguson at The Late Late Showand the pressure is on. So far, the #latelatenormnorm movement for Norm MacDonald to replace Ferguson seems to still be going strong.

  2. I have learned some important things through your post. I’d also like to state that there might be situation where you will get a loan and don’t need a co-signer such as a Government Student Support Loan. However, if you are getting credit through a common loan provider then you need to be willing to have a cosigner ready to enable you to. The lenders will probably base that decision over a few elements but the biggest will be your credit worthiness. There are some financial institutions that will furthermore look at your job history and come to a decision based on that but in almost all cases it will depend on your rating.

Thanks for your tips about this blog. 1 thing I would wish to say is the fact that purchasing electronics items on the Internet is certainly not new. The fact is, in the past decades alone, the marketplace for online gadgets has grown a great deal. Today, you could find practically any type of electronic tool and other gadgets on the Internet, which include cameras and camcorders to computer elements and games consoles.

Thanks for the tips you have provided here. Also, I believe there are many factors that will keep your car insurance premium lower. One is, to take into account buying autos that are inside the good report on car insurance corporations. Cars that are expensive tend to be more at risk of being robbed. Aside from that insurance coverage is also good value of the car, so the more pricey it is, then the higher the particular premium you pay.

  5. Hello, you used to write great, but the last few posts have been kinda boring… I miss your great writings. Past several posts are just a little bit out of track! come on!

  6. Thank you a lot for providing individuals with remarkably wonderful opportunity to read articles and blog posts from this blog. It is usually very brilliant plus full of fun for me personally and my office mates to visit the blog no less than 3 times a week to study the newest stuff you have. And indeed, we are actually astounded considering the impressive suggestions you give. Certain two ideas in this post are truly the most effective we have had.

  7. Thanks for your submission. I also believe that laptop computers have become more and more popular right now, and now are usually the only form of computer found in a household. The reason is that at the same time potentially they are becoming more and more reasonably priced, their working power is growing to the point where there’re as strong as personal computers coming from just a few years back.

Neil Patrick Harris, Paul F Tompkins, John Hodgeman — I could dig any of these folks.

  11. Matt A says:

I’d read somewhere stating Neil Patrick Harris had been interested in doing a talk show, he’d be a nice fit following Colbert! Plus he’s known on CBS for HIMYM..Nikki Glaser is also awesome! If there’s a house band, Greg Behrendt and The Reigning Monarchs!

  12. I was sort of hoping Conan would take over whenever Letterman decided to leave. I hadn’t heard Colbert was leaving, but I have no TV so I hear things late. Not a big Norm MacDonald fan (where has he been!?). I honestly think a woman should get it. It’s about time a woman hosted one of these male-dominated late night shows.

  13. novaseason says:

Ooh what about Paul F. Tomkins!

  14. Chris Powers says:

There will likely be some downtime between gigs for Stephen. Also, I doubt CBS will want to keep the exact same set after Dave leaves, so there will be some additional time then.

    Jim Rash! He’s free now.
