Itâs the biggest night of the year for movies and weâre ready to celebrate! Gather the troops and root for your favorite nerdy nominations by throwing your very own geeky Oscars party. Themed treats and fancy decor are at the ready, so bring on the shiny and chrome statues!
With seven nominations, including one for Best Picture, The Martian is indeed a favorite at this year’s Academy Awards. And since it’s a favorite among fans as well, this is something youâll surely want to celebrate… most likely with an extra helping of potatoes. But donât feel lost the vast cosmos of party prep at your Oscar party this year; just channel your inner Mark Watney and engineer some delicious savory treats for your guests. Or, you know, buy them at the grocery store.
Mini spuds become elegant hors dâoeuvres when roasted and topped with a touch of Greek Yogurt. Paired with a coffee that replicates a Martian moonrise, you definitely wonât want to leave these party eats behind.
