The Many Doctor Who Video Game Easter Eggs

As the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who continues, I’ve stumbled upon a video that has officially blown my mind. This is courtesy of the folks at Did You Know Gaming, who recently compiled a list of Doctor Who easter eggs spread across video games from the last three decades. They bring to light quite a few impressive ones, including one from Fallout 3 that I totally missed, even though it was right in my face. Take a look to see if any of these seem familiar to you:

You have to admit, that was rather amazing, wasn’t it? Have you come across any of these Easter Eggs yourself? Or have you come across any that weren’t mentioned in the video above. Let us know in the comments if they missed out on anything and be sure to have a look a our review of The Day Of The Doctor.

Surgeon simulator in the heart transplentation if you stick the new hard in while the other heart still is there you get an achiement “Vworrrp Vworrrp” with the desription “Create a Time Lord” and picture of the TARDIS 😀

  2. Multibeast says:

There’s an easter egg in the new Lego Marvel game too. In the beginning of the Asgard level, the characters are seen travelling through the space portal (much like the opening credits of Doctor Who) and you can see a tardis fly past them.

  3. Vandal says:

In Borderlands 2, the NPC who wanders around your base will once in a while say that she missed the new episode of Constable What.

  4. sevenzarkseven says:

    Dragonvale has a “wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey” mention

  5. Amber says:

In Wizard 101, in the town that resembles London, there is a red police box with a character wearing a long scarf and a trench coat named “The Professor”.

  6. Oh well bullocks, someone already said it. That’s what I get for not reading first.

  7. Don’t forget…in the new game for PSN called Contrast, there’s an actual hidden TARDIS by the movie theater in one of the early stages if you keep an eye out.

  8. Diane says:

There’s an NPC in the Guild Lobby in Everquest called Tavid Dennant.

    You say, ‘Hail, Tavid Dennant’
Tavid Dennant says ‘Well hello! What brings a Wood Elf like you to a place like this? Me? I seem to have misplaced my scarf, I don’t suppose you’ve seen it? Long, wool, colorful? I can’t imagine where I might have left it. Speaking of misplaced things, I’ve got quite a number of who’s its and what’s its that I’ve picked up during my travels. You’re welcome to take a look if you think you might find any of it useful. All except for this [watch] of course.’

    You say, ‘What watch?’
Tavid Dennant says ‘I can remember where I found all of these other things, but the watch I just seem to have always had. I can’t quite recall when I got it or who gave it to me. Still, I can’t imagine parting with it. It’s almost like it’s a part of me.’

You say, ‘Are you the Doctor?’
Tavid Dennant says ‘Doctor? No I think you must have me confused with someone else. I’ve never studied medicine in any form.’

  9. John says:

They also missed one for the new game Contrast. I found it and took a picture on Steam. In the corner, before you enter the theater, you can clearly see a blue police box.

  10. Jason says:

There are also quite a few Dr. Who references in World Of Warcraft.

  11. Brandon Smart says:

They left out the Whovian at the PokeTransfer Park in Pokemon Black and White 2. He quotes some of the Doctor’s catchphrases!
