Everything is awesome
Everything is cool when it’s Easter Sunday
Everything is awesome
When you find all the eggs
Easter Sunday is a special day of the year for so many people around the world, and it turns out it is even a big day for the “Special,” the one that lives in the LEGO universe. Because we all know it’s so much cooler when you celebrate the holidays with a team.
This Easter version of The LEGO Movie squad has all of them decked out in their best white and pink garb in honor of the holiday, including Batman, who looks like a cross between the Caped Crusader and Ralphie in his bunny costume from A Christmas Story.
This “Double-Decker Basket” piece, a play on Emmet’s not-quite-as-stupid-as-you-think double-decker couch, is the work of LEGO artist Chris McVeigh, and it doesn’t take a master builder to see how great it is.
It’s also nice to know that Lord Business has managed to find true peace in his life, now that’s hes not trying to glue everyone into place. I’m glad the gang has welcomed him with open tiny arms.
Make sure you check out McVeigh’s website and his work on his Flickr page. He has some amazing pieces, with lots geared right towards us in the nerd world, including plenty of Star Wars numbers. He even has one of Kylo Ren’s secret identity, Matt the Radar Technician, from Undercover Boss: Starkiller Base.
What other holidays would you like to see The Lego Movie squad celebrating? Everything will be awesome if you share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
