Hey dudes – Great episode. The PuyoPuyo2 track blew me away, feels like they made full use of every possible channel the Yamaha chip had to offer.
The reason why that Water Stage (Critical) track feels like Jaco/WR is because the sound its imitating (very well I might add) is that of a fretless bass…they usually have a twangier sound – I don’t know the science behind it, but if you look that up you’ll hear what I mean.
