The Latest Nerdist TV Special Now Available To Buy, So Do That

Did you miss the latest Nerdist TV special on BBC America Saturday night, the one with Alison Brie, Kunal Nayyar, Thomas Dolby, and Lily Loveless? Were you busy with something you thought was more important (YOU WERE WRONG) or maybe you had an Unfortunate DVR Mishap like I did (the DVR unilaterally decided to cancel the recording for NO APPARENT REASON).

That’s NO EXCUSE.

Whatever the reason… you can now buy it on iTunes. Or on the Zune Marketplace.  (At least, in the U.S.  I don’t know about elsewhere.  They don’t tell me those things.  Sorry) (Yes, now also at Amazon. Wasn’t there when I originally wrote this.  Thanks, commenters!)

And even if you saw it, buy it and you’ll have it on your portable video viewing device for posterity. YOU WANT THAT. And for a buck-ninety-nine, why not?  Thanks!

(The iTunes link takes you, for some reason, to the page for the entire series, but you CAN buy the individual episode if you click through to see it in iTunes)

Finally the Nerdist year in review available on amazon! Bought them soon as I saw that this morning. Thanks! You guys keep making them and I’ll keep buying them.\
Also – it’s so lovely to see other ‘mericans so excited to be in the UK. I know it seems odd to some Brits, but some of us stateside experience a feeling of euphoria, nostalgia, and homecoming every time we step foot upon British soil.

  2. Elantriel says:

Apparently Australia doesnt exist to the rest of the world. We cant buy it from itunes or from Amazon Instant Watch. What exactly are Aussie Nerds meant to do???

  3. Jeff says:

Yeah, my DVR only recorded the 1st 11 minutes! WTF?!?! Anyways, glad we can buy it on iTunes!

  4. Gabriel says:

Agreed, a lack of official Canadian options IS disappointing. Pursuing the alternative would be unfortunate.

  5. Brett Hibbs says:

Not available in Canada again…. Guess I will have to steal what I would otherwise buy. Your throwing money away Chris. I want to support your efforts! Please do something about this.

  6. CJ says:

I definitely prefer Amazon over iTunes as well. Here’s where you can find it:

  7. Jorge says:

@Tiffany Thanks so much for the Amazon heads up! I’ve been dying to watch all these specials but don’t get BBC America – and as an iVoider, I just can’t bring myself to get sucked into the black hole that is iTunes. Again, thanks!

  8. Vincent S says:

Can my overpriced (Australian price…) copy of the Nerdist Way (I think it’s the only one on the local book store) possibly get me out of watching this stream online? :/ even if it was available, I can’t get access to iTunes from my laptop…

Can’t wait to see this. 😀 Alison Brie is SO fucking gorgeous and funny. Can a man swoon?

  9. Ben says:

Come on guys, break down these imaginary regional barriers so us non-US nerds can join the party!

  10. Tiffany says:

I don’t know if this helps non-US people, but you can also purchase the Nerdist episode through Amazon Instant watch.
Just in case you want another choice for your digital download pleasure.

  11. CXRengel says:

But I already have it on a perfectly good VHS tape…

  12. NateShowww says:

I love the fact I can get this on Zune. Thank you so much. Make sure you think of the children like this.

  13. Tony says:

If someone does have a legal place to download outside the USA please post.

  14. Jeff G says:

I love the part at 3:08 when Matt starts to drop the f-bomb. You can see the thought process on his face when he remembers that he is on television and has to censor himself.

  15. Jeff G says:

    Just did!

  16. Benjamin says:

Only in the US apparently, so the rest of us have to find another way.
