It’s just Kurt with no guest to tell you all about the first three days on his epic jet-ski adventure from Chicago to New Orleans. And there’s still time to donate to help him raise $50,000 to send 500 goats and 1000 chickens to Africa!

Haha, also my first K Ohle episode! I learned about the jet-ski trip on @midnight and was excited to hear about it 🙂
This is my first episode listening to this podcast!
Also first episode I have ever listened too. I wanted to hear about the jet ski trip 🙂
I wish I had been able to follow this more closely as it was happening – I had no idea you ended up marooned in Joliet. I lived there for 10 years and still have a lot of friends and family there, and may have been able to ask around for advice from all the fishermen I know about how to get you guys out of the water. Certainly could have given you some advice about where to eat. Where DID you end up eating, would just be curious to know.
As far as the Mancow thing, He was HUGE when we moved to the Chicago area, so I listened to him for a while. He wasn’t my cup of tea, so I ended up on a local station for their generic morning show and their 5% of the listeners Mancow got instead. Mancow’s just went further and further in the obscene, “LOOK AT ME, I’M CONTROVERSIAL!”, sexist, racist, whatever, direction as his career and popularity has wound down. He’s been all, “Look at me! remember what I used to be on Chicago radio that made me edgy and cool!?!? Now I’m that times 10! Ten’s not enough?!?! 100! 1,000! And I’ve got cameras!” Could have pretty much told you what you were in for, even though I haven’t heard a word he’s said since he left terrestrial radio.
NOOOOO!!!! Why didnt you just tell us the whole trip! I could listen to Kurt talk all day long. Such a wonderful, natural storyteller. I wish I could have been on this trip. I think the best trips are when everythign goes wrong. So much more of an experience. THANK YOU KURT!
Great episode. Love how even when everything is going wrong, Kurt can still make things funny and entertaining.
First episode I’ve ever listened to, hand to God.
