My family waited a little too long to get one of our cats spayed, and boy was she annoying while in heat. No bloody floor smears, though. Yikes.

If you are looking for a way for your dog to let you know when she needs to go outside, you might want to try hanging a bell and training her to use it! It worked for my last dog, and it sounds much more pleasant than barking or scratching on the door 🙂

This is off-topic, but can someone tell me what the song is way back at the end of episode 4? It is very nice.
Gillian Vigman! One of my favorites! I am still to this day upset that Sons and Daughters was never released on DVD. That show was brilliant, but screwed from the start. It was one of the first TV shows that I recall started the whole smalltown midwest setting in a realistic way. I need more Vigman in my life.
What a wonderful, hilarious episode! And the MASH was entertaining. Give me that Jane Austen shit. She’s so blunt and observant about everything, which I suppose actors, especially comedians, are typically good at being.
Gillian’s mom and my grandmother would be great friends. On one hand, you always know where you stand. On the other, she hates your homemade cookies and she just called your cousin a “tub of lard.”
Great episode. Loved the mom stories.

And to confuse Maggie Grace and Maggie Smith… you know, you should get both on the podcast, together. I’m sure it’d make a fun conversation.
But finally! Someone who couldn’t go for your Disneyland ride category. I’ve never been and I’ve only heard of the rides indirectly, like for “It’s a small world after all” one I can only picture through the Duffland version of the Simpsons. I haven’t been to many amusement parks (I do believe I can count them on the fingers of one hand), but the most memorable one would be Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen (though I loved Legoland too, the original one in Billund, back when they claimed they wouldn’t sell out). Denmark is totally worth a visit (plus the airport in Copenhagen is really nice too).

You know what? I walked out of Blue Jasmine, too. I just didn’t really care about the characters. I felt like if I was my mom’s age I’d like it because I’d at least have known some of the character’s in real life. Oh well.
