It’s an episode filled with mystery as Janet and guest Morgan Walsh (Burning Love) shower praise on the magic of Portland, Oregon and then begin to wonder if they share a dad. Further intrigue abounds with talk of living a double life in high school and the puzzling appeal of the Salton Sea.
The JV Club
hey there… I just found your lovely podcast. Never saw Burning Love, but you guys keep talking about it. How can I watch it? Nowhere on the interwebs does it seem available. Got any secret hints or hidden passwords? Help! I feel like I’m missing out on what all the cool kids already know.
I just listened to the Morgan Walsh and Erinn Hayes podcasts back to back. I listen to a lot of podcasts, but yours is the one that always strikes an emotional chord. I did, indeed, listen to the Kristen Rutherford pcast, and I am truly sorry for your loss. You move me. Enough said. I said, Enough Said! Hearts and Thoughts!!
Everything about that Little Shop of Horrors audition story was great. Morgan’s advice to sing as loudly as possible? His being able to chose any role he wanted, choosing a werewolf? Awesome.
Feast the bread! How cruel for a poor guy like me who decided to get braces in his 30s, and not back as a teenager. I love good bakery bread, and I can eat baguette if it’s fresh of the day. But no pumpernickel, no fig bread, no fougasse filled with olives, or all the other delicious hearty breads of my local artisan bakery. I’m down to mushy, sliced, industrial bread, because it stays soft for days. Oh well, I’ll can still enjoy croissants and chocolatines (or “pain au chocolat” for the parigots) once a week. Plus, the delightful lady behind the counter is named Antoinette, what more can you ask from a bakery? (Now before your mind pictures a little old lady from Provence, where her baker husband is from, I should mention she’s from Macau).
Woo! Go Seahawks!
