This weekâs guest â comedian Janine Brito â comes to you direct from Los Angeles via New York via San Francisco via Alabama with a bunch of other exotic locales in between. Along the way: Icelandic grandmothers, British schools, SNL obsessions and a couple of pretty remarkable early-life curveballs.

Wonderful as always, but I would not have picked Julianne Moore over Gillian Anderson.
When I was 3 or 4 yrs old my dad got my brother and me a chihuahua that we named Bambi. Bambi liked to bite us and tear things up but I still loved him. One night my dad was next door getting drunk with his buddies when one mentioned that he wanted to get a dog so my dad came home, grabbed the dog from off my bed where he was sleeping with me, and gave him away. I was so upset! I was reminded of that when Janine talked about her experience growing up with her dad bringing home dogs and then taking them back. Thankfully that only happened once with my family and not several times.
Janine is such a delight! Left a big ol’ smile on my face!
I watched A League of Their Own so much when I was growing up – such a classic!
