The radiant Malin Akerman (Rock of Ages, Watchmen) sits down with Janet to reflect on the familiar comfort of a Sears catalog, the perennial sexual appeal of a good drummer, bluffing your way into Catholic school, and proof that there’s no poetry quite like angsty teenage poetry.
The JV Club
Hey JV. I’ve been trying to catch up on your podcast and just wanted to say how much I liked this one. It was a just a great conversation.
Also, the sound quality is always very good on your show, do you mind me asking what equipment you are using? I know you mentioned several podcasts back that you were doing it on your own.
Hey Kristal! Thanks! And thanks again for the awesome iTunes feedback!
I use my mac pc with an apogee mixer and en core mics. It’s very easy to travel with!
Thanks for the great comments as always, folks! Gerayl- what a GREAT comment- that makes me feel like a million bucks! Thank you!
Wow this was a great podcast . I find that with alot of the women you interview that I already have this preconceived notion about them, but by the first five minutes in that completely changes. I am so glad that I stumbled upon this podcast through your interview on spill.com. These podcast bring in alot of diffrent perspectives and I enjoy all of them. So keep up the good work Janet!!!
One of the colonial left-overs in Ontario is a whole separate Catholic public school system, so Malin might not have had to convince her parents to fork out extra money for that last switch.
Malin Akerman= YUMMY
HOT. HOT. She is so hot.
