THE INCREDIBLES Gets a LEGO Video Game!

It’s been far too long since we’ve seen the Parr family in action, but 2018 is shaping up to be the year of The Incredibles. Not only are Pixar and Disney releasing Incredibles 2 this summer, there’s also a new LEGO game lined up for the superhero family. In the LEGO The Incredibles announcement trailer, the Parrs and Frozone put together a LEGO version of the first film’s logo before LEGO Edna Mode reveals that the game will adapt both Incredibles movies.

LEGO The Incredibles will put players in control of Mr. Incredible, Elastigirl, Violet, Dash, and Frozone as they team up to protect the city. Jack-Jack will also be in the game, but it’s currently unclear if he will be a playable character as well. This title will have a two-player co-op mode, but players will also be able to make it through the game’s stories by themselves in a solo campaign. The locations will include Municiberg, the hometown of the Incredibles, as well as Nomanisan Island, the hidden lair of Syndrome.

While the announcement trailer doesn’t feature any gameplay footage, Warner Bros. Interactive has released a few screenshots of the game. The various pics depict the family using their powers, as well as  the LEGO incarnation of the deadly Omnidroid.

LEGO The Incredibles will be released on June 15 for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. June 15 is also the release date for Incredibles 2, so it’s going to be a very good weekend for fans of the franchise!
