Remember The Gusher’s Lawyer? Adam Murray, the writer and producer of that awesome piece of nostalgia-based humor is back with a new insight into the danger facing Jurassic World‘s park attendees this summer. Murray wrote & directed this one based off of an idea by Rye Silverman.
After finding brief safety in one of the park’s secure offices, Owen Grady & Claire Dearing (played by Murray and Megan Rosati) start unpacking just how dangerous this new super-dinosaur really is. Does it have the killing instinct of a T-Rex? Yup. How about the intelligence of a Velociraptor. That too. Can it fly? Most likely. Is is partly metal? Yeaaahhh. Now, what about poisonous teeth? Mmhmm. Does it have a fire tail like a Charmander? Oh boy, you betcha. Oh, and there’s a little smidge of vampire shark in it too, so please do watch out for that.
The ever growing list of things packed neatly into this Ultimate Dino is absurd, sure, but at its essence highlights that the bad idea isn’t splicing a whole bunch of different dinosaur attributes into one main attraction. The bad idea is even just splicing two. If the almighty Cthulhu had wanted certain dino parts mixing together, he would have made it so when he planted his little dinosaur trees here years ago. It’s Raptor & Eve, not Raptor & Steve, thank you very much.
How cute is the picture at the end, though? Sure this mega-mighty-ultimate-super-dinosaur might be an unstoppable killing machine, but you have to respect the time it takes to at least draw a picture of its plans and then taunt Owen & Co. with it. I do have a suggestion for the Jurassic World benefactors, though: don’t leave dinosaur head-sized night vision goggles laying around.
