In this video, Peter Jackson continues to show us the fun and peril of shooting on location. I really want to go to New Zealand now, even more than before. It’s also interesting to note that The Hobbit, which consists of two films, has roughly the same shooting schedule as the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy. I assume with Andy Serkis heading up the second unit, Jackson won’t get exhausted the way he did ten years ago. Hooray for Middle Earth!

These videos are stupidly cool. I love that we’re seeing behind-the-scenes footage before the movies are released instead of wading through extras on the DVDs.
And yay for the cast! They seem to have the same quality that the original cast did which is so good to see. The movies will be awesome. 😀
