The GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Become Build-A-Bear Stuffed Animals

The real Guardians of the Galaxy are once again heading out there save the universe from total annihilation. But now, we’ll also be lucky enough to have them protecting us in our own homes, thanks to the latest line from Build-A-Bear.

The stuffed animal company’s newest intergalactic collection, via Entertainment Weekly,  includes five eight-inch Mega Minis, featuring Gamora, Groot, Drax, Rocket, and Star-Lord (all $10). The line also features a full-sized Rocket Raccoon ($25.50), which you can either dress up in his normal costume ($12.50) or one of the two Guardians t-shirts ($7). If you want to create your own teddy bear version of Star-Lord or Gamora, you can also buy their two-piece costumes (each $18).

Their full-sized, adult version Groot ($25) is an online exclusive. And you better believe he comes with his own built-in “I am Groot” speech feature. (They really missed an opportunity to make the big bucks by charging extra for a “We are Groot” option, since sometimes you need a good cry and you’re willing to pay for it.)

But you can’t release a line of Guardians of the Galaxy Build-A-Bear’s right before Vol. 2 hits theaters without giving us a Baby Groot! The line also includes wrist accessory version of the adorable little guy ($8). He is just begging to be attached to Rocket’s shoulder, like in the trailer for the sequel.

You can see the rest of the collection on the Build-A-Bear site.

So sure, the actual Guardians are a little bit busy serving the world at large, but their teddy bear versions can now make you feel safer in your home.

Which one of these Guardian stuffed animals would you most want to have in your home? I am Groot in our comments below.
