Recently, we showed you maker extraordinaire Adam Savage’s custom built, Ghostbusters-inspired proton pack. However, while the craftsmanship of the item blew us away, it seems one gang had something else to say on the matter. Really, that’s the only narrative that makes sense for what led to today’s piece of internet glory: an epic rap battle of history between The MythBusters and The Ghostbusters:

Tory… bro… you gotta learn to bring it, man.

As for the winner, we’re willing to call it a draw because when it comes to a battle between the two great busting teams of past and present, the only winner, truly, is us. Also, props to the ERB crew for working in a build-team appearance, though we’d hardly call them the “B-team,” they’re more of the second A-team, really. Their absence is really going to be felt in 2015.

With the Discovery gang doing more and more movie-themed episodes lately, we wonder if there’s a chance they’ll ever do a Ghostbusters-centric episode at some point in the future. While of course they could never test whether or not ghosts are real, surely there’s room for some marshmallow inspired tests… okay, maybe not that one, but there’s gotten be some testable stuff from the films that would be good for the show.

Okay, fine, we just really want to see Adam walk around in his proton pack for an entire episode. We’re only human, guys!
