Are you counting the days until D23 Expo? Disney’s fan convention takes place in Anaheim this weekend–August 14-16–and like any convention, there will be plenty of merchandise available to persuade you to part with your cash. We’ve shared previews of some of the items from both Disney and Her Universe, but there’s always space to add things to your shopping list, right? Thanks to Disney offering advance purchase options for the convention’s Dream Store to special ticket holders (and by special, I mean people who paid $2,000 for a fancy VIP Sorcerer package ticket), we have a look at some of the Star Wars products that will be available and the line-up includes items from The Force Awakens.
My personal favorite is this BB-8 pin:
The picture features concept art; it’s not the final product (that actually applies to all The Force Awakens merch in this post). The trading pin is part of the Force for Change program, which means 25% of the retail price will be donated to UNICEF. Since it’s a trading pin, I would hope we’ll eventually get more than one design so we can uh, trade them.
There’s other The Force Awakens merchandise in the Dream Store that also benefits Force for Change. You can choose from a t-shirt available in different sizes and cuts or a fleece hoodie featuring this First Order trooper design:
