Miss THE EXPANSE Season 1? Allow Some CATS to Recap It for You (Exclusive)

We get it: it’s hard to keep up with all the good TV out there these days. We can’t even do it properly, and we get paid to do it! Which is why some of you out there may still be unaware of the space opera goodness that is Syfy’s The Expanse. With season two around the corner, you may have forgotten how season one went, or maybe you’re considering jumping into the series (you should!)—either way, we’ve got the purrfect recap video for you.

Because it stars a bunch of cats.

Fans of James S. A. Corey (the pen name of authors Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck)’s tale are no doubt familiar with the sweeping story of humanity’s crawl towards peace and conspiracy/mystery-uncovering in a universe where humans have populated the solar system, including Mars and the asteroid belt. But it’s also a lot to remember, so it’s OK if you feel a bit iffy on a detail or two: these cats have you covered, recapping all the important bits to make sure you’re ready for what’s to come. Because guess what? We’ve seen the first four episodes of season two already, and let us just say this: The Expanse is about to get even bigger, more epic, and thrilling than it was before. Julie Mao was just the beginning.

Besides: who can say no to a cat with a Flock o’ Seagulls haircut, eh? (Sorry, Miller, but it’s true.)

Season two of The Expanse hits us on Wednesday, February 1 at 10PM on Syfy. Are you going to tune in? Let us know in the comments below.
