The DOCTOR STRANGE Gag Reel is Spellbindingly Silly (Exclusive)

Magic is no laughing matter, especially in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Unless, of course, you’re one of the stars of Doctor Strange, in which case you can’t help but goof around in between takes. Now you too can experience the unbridled silliness of hanging out with Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton, and Chiwetel Ejiofor on the set of Doctor Strange in an exclusive first-look at the gag reel, which included as a bonus feature on the home video release.

From Cumberbatch’s impromptu jazz hands to Swinton doing silly voices before a take, this is all but guaranteed to put a smile on your face. It also gives a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at what these actors are really doing before fancy CGI particle effects are added in post-production. I’ve got to say, it really makes me appreciate how eminently watchable and engrossing the final product winds up being.

In addition to the gag reel, the home video release includes exclusive looks at Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Black Panther, Thor: Ragnarok, and Avengers: Infinity War; featurettes about the making-of Doctor Strange; deleted scenes; audio commentary from director Scott Derrickson; a comedic short reuniting Thor and his roommate Darryl; and much more.

Doctor Strange is available on Digital HD on February 14, and on Blu-ray on February 27.
