The CW Unveils the Second Trailer for DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW

Last week’s crossover event between The Flash and Arrow set the stage for the CW’s new series, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. And if you happened to miss those episodes, you may want to skip this post because there are some spoilers ahead! But there’s nothing too shocking if you’ve already seen the first Legends of Tomorrow trailer.

It took the combined efforts of Team Flash and Team Arrow to take down Vandal Savage (Casper Crump), and while Savage may be dead in the present, he is very much alive in the future. More than that, Savage has won. In just a few decades, Savage will be the unchallenged ruler of the Earth.

Time traveler Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) will do anything to undo this turn of events, even if it means turning to a team of heroes, villains, and lost souls to save humanity from its dire fate at Savage’s hands. Hunter calls the team “legends,” but he can’t quite seem to look them in the eyes while doing so.

Legends of Tomorrow Poster

The newly released second trailer for Legends of Tomorrow hints that Hunter has a personal stake in changing this future, while Ray Palmer a.k.a. the Atom butts heads with Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller). The trailer also debuts a new costume for Jax Jackson’s Firestorm (Franz Drameh), and Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) appears to be interested in changing fate, perhaps for herself or possibly for her entire team.

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will premiere on January 21 on the CW.
