Thank Heaven! Funko Unveils Their PREACHER Pop! Vinyls

So far, there’s been one only episode of AMC’s adaptation of Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon’s Preacher but, as with most AMC shows, we’re pretty sure this one will be around for a bit. It’s safe to say most may find themselves in a similar “unfamiliar with the source material” boat as they did when The Walking Dead first graced our television screens, but there’s no doubt people will come to love the wonderfully weird mix of gritty story telling, controversial religious tone, and more than a fair share supernatural elements. Not ones to rest on their toy-making laurels, Funko has already announced some pretty spot-on Preacher Pop! vinyls. PreacherFunko02060316

While they won’t be available until August 2016, the three announced so far will come as exclusives for particular retailers. The bad-ass Tulip O’Hare will be available to order at comic book shops through a Previews exclusive; the eponymous preacher himself, Jesse Custer, will grace the shelves at GameStop; and everyone’s favorite Irish-undead-man Cassidy will be available in all his bloody glory at Hot Topic. Because of course it would be Hot Topic for a bloody vampire. Sure, how could it not be?

As you can see, these are the TV versions of the characters, which is probably for the best considering how terrifying comic-accurate ones would actually look. Especially if Funko decides to delve deeper into the vast amount of characters in Preacher. Plus, we think a Pop! Funko version of AMC’s Arseface (Ian Colletti) would be far more acceptable on our shelves than one of the comic book counterpart.

What characters from the series would you like to see in Pop! Funko form? Preach about it in the comments, would ya?
