Few roles in Hollywood history are more iconic than Marlon Brando‘s performance as Vito Corleone in The Godfather, but that didn’t stop us from getting goofy with the character on the latest episode of our Alpha series Talkin’ Toons. And we mean that literally, because letting the voice of Disney’s Goofy take over as head of the family was an offer we couldn’t refuse.
In this latest clip from the show, host Rob Paulsen and fellow voice actor Bill Farmer recreated the scene from the beginning of The Godfather when funeral director Amerigo Bonasera asks Don Corleone for justice for his daughter, even though he’s never shown the Godfather respect or friendship. But Farmer didn’t limit his amazing performance here to just Goofy, because he did a number of characters and impressions, including one that was huge. Some are saying it’s the most beautiful impression they have ever seen. Ever.
That really was huge. In fact that was so incredible Bill Farmer should be nominated for it. Both for an Emmy and an Oscar.
