Did you know it’s been ten years since Firefly started? Seriously. AN ENTIRE DECADE, guys. I can’t believe how incredibly old that makes me feel, but! Let’s not dwell on our inevitable demises, let’s talk about how much we love Firefly and what an AMAZING show it was.

Want to know everything, ever about it? Luckily, Firefly: A Celebration was released a few days ago, and is packed to the gills with amazing stuff for the Firefly aficionado. It’s 544 pages of awesome, like a nerd’s fandom Bible, a Browncoat’s love letter, everything you want to see and things you didn’t even know existed.

There are a bunch of unreleased photos, the complete scripts to every episode and little sidebars accompanying it with little notes about the show, characters, etc…. The illustrations are fantastic, some of the pictures have never before been published, and it’s basically this Browncoat’s dream come true. The faux leather binding — it’s as cool as they’d lead you to believe, but it’s not awful.

Granted, if you already have the Official Firefly Companions Volumes 1 & 2, you won’t get much more out of this, but if you don’t? GET ON IT. I’ve been flipping through it and discovering new things on every page. It’s kind of the best.
