Wait, hold on a second. Didn’t Beach House, Baltimore’s premiere dream-pop duo, just release Depression Cherry? The answer is yep, they sure did. However, the famously elusive Victoria Legrand and Alex Scally are wasting no time in releasing another full-length LP… next week! As in, a few days from today. October 16, to be exact. No, this is not a joke (we don’t think, that would be ever so cruel).

Legrand took to Twitter to announce the news, reporting, “It’s not a companion to Depression Cherry or a surprise or b-sides. We are very excited, it’s an album being released the way we want.” The album will be titled Thank Your Lucky Stars, and it’ll be the band’s 6th record to date. It will contain 9 songs, none of which have been shared (or leaked) so far.

Beach House has become known for creating music that is devastatingly beautiful, haunting and atmospheric. With a style all their own, their songs tackle the theme of love and loss in every contortion. They are currently on tour, where they’ll have their work cut out for them as they simultaneously promote two albums.
